A former Louisiana Ragin Cajun baseball standout recently continued an impressive offensive streak at the professional level.

On Tuesday evening, Blake Trahan, who played for the Cajuns for three seasons, from 2013-2015, hit a home run in his third-consecutive game in International League play.

Trahan who plays for the Louisville Bats, the AAA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, homered in the 5th inning of 2-1 victory over the Gwinnett Braves.

Oddly enough, the home run streak account for all three of Trahan's homers this season.

A native of Kinder, La., Trahan, the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, appeared in 11 games for the Reds last September, collecting three hits in 14 at-bats, while scoring twice.

A 3rd-round draft choice of the Reds in 2015, Trahan is hitting .226, to go along with 3 home runs and 21 runs batted in this season for Louisville.
