The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns volleyball team opened its season with a 3-1 win over the Tulane Green Wave, but fell in the nighttime portion of the doubleheader, 3-0 at Earl K. Long Gym.

Stacey Reilly, Chloe Cordell and Dree'Ana Abram each had double digit kills in the first match, won by the Cajuns, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22, 26-24.

In the nightcap, the Cajuns were their own worst enemy, committing 21 errors in the match.  The Cajuns had a hitting percentage of just .085, compared with Tulane's .216.

The final was 25-21, 25-23, 25-15.

The two teams were scheduled to open the season with a tournament at Incarnate Word, but Hurricane Harvey ruined those plans.

The Cajuns are back in action Wednesday at Southern Miss.
