
Cajuns Volleyball Picked Third in West Division of the Sun Belt
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Volleyball team has been picked to finish third in the Sun Belt West Division in a poll of league coaches.
And, two Cajuns have been selected to the Preseason All-Conference Team.
The Cajuns finished 21-11, 13-3 in SBC play a year ago, their best finish since joining the league in 1991. They earned the #3 seed in the conference tournament, advancing to the semifinals.
Junior middle blocker Dree’Ana Abram and sophomore outside hitter Hali Wisnoskie represented Louisiana on the Preseason All-Conference team. Wisnoskie was named the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year after the 2017 season.
The Cajuns open the 11th season under the direction of coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot August 24th at the Tulane I-10 Challenge.
