Cajuns Visit Troy

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team is on the road on Saturday, as coach Mark Hudspeth's squad opens up Sun Belt Conference play in Troy, Alabama against the Troy Trojans.

Louisiana (1-0) won their season opener last week, defeating Lamar, 40-0, in their first shutout since 2006, while Troy (1-0) also won their opener, defeating UAB, 39-29.

The Cajuns hold an 8-7 all-time advantage over Troy, including a 31-17 win last year at Cajun Field.

UL is paced by senior quarterback Blaine Gautier, who passed for 2,958 yards, and 23 touchdowns, both school records, a season ago, while senior running back Shawn Southward, who rushed for 204 yards a week ago, lead the Trojans.

Kick-off is set for 6:04 pm.
