The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns found out yesterday they are headed to Orlando, FL to play in the AutoNation Cure Bowl.

Now they know their opponent.  And, it's a familiar name.

It will be an all-Louisiana affair as the Cajuns will meet up with in-state foe Tulane on December 15th at Camping World Stadium.  The game will kick off at 12:30 (CST).  The game will be televised by CBS Sports Network and will be broadcast on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Radio Network with pregame festivities beginning on flagship ESPN1420 at 10:30 am with the network joining the pregame show one hour before kickoff.

The Cajuns (7-6) officially accepted their bid following their 30-19 loss to Appalachian State (10-2) in the inaugural Sun Belt Conference title game.  They will face a Tulane squad that closed strong after starting the season 2-5.  Tulane reached bowl eligibility with their dramatic 29-28 win over Navy in their regular season finale to finish the regular season at 6-6.

It will be the second time the Cajuns and Green Wave have met in a bowl game.  Louisiana took a 27-24 win at the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl in 2014.  That game set an attendance record for the bowl with 54,728 in attendance.  The last meeting between the two teams was in 2016 with Tulane taking a 41-39 win in four overtimes.  The teams tied 16-16 in regulation.

This will be the sixth bowl appearance for the Cajuns since 2011.  The previous five bowl appearances were all in New Orleans.  The Cajuns are 4-1 in their recent bowl appearances.
