The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns look to snap a three game losing streak and gain a little revenge in the process when they host UL Monroe tonight at 7:15 at the Cajundome.

Louisiana (12-9, 3-5 Sun Belt) fell to UALR on the road 80-69 in its last outing.  Elfrid Payton scored 20 points to lead the Cajuns.  J. J., Davenport scored 14 and Xavian Rimmer added 12.  The Cajuns played that game without Kasey Shepherd, out indefinitely with a knee injury and leading scorer Shawn Long, who was suspended for the game by head coach Bob Marlin.

ULM (7-9. 4-4) won at home Thursday night against Arkansas State to even its record at 4-4 in league play.  Tyler Ongwae, who scored 27 points against the Cajuns in Monroe, led the Warhawks with 17 points, Marvin Williams had 16, point guard Nick Coppola scored 12 points and Chinedu Amajoyi chipped in ten, all on free throws.

The Cajuns look to even the season series against the Warhawks after stumbling in their league opener in double overtime 103-98 despite a triple double (34-11-11) from Elfrid Payton.

Both teams will be without key players for the game.  Shepherd will miss his second consecutive game for the Cajuns, as will ULM's Amos Olatayo, who tore his ACL and is out for the season.

The Cajuns lead the all-time series, 48-20, boasting a 7-1 record at the Cajundome and 29-3 in games played in Lafayette.
