The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will try to make it four in a row Monday night when they meet Appalachian State in a Sun Belt Conference game at the Holmes Center in Boone, NC.

Tonight's game can be heard on ESPN 1420 and HOT 107.9.  Air time is 5:30pm.

The Cajuns (17-11, 7-8 Sun Belt) are looking to post a winning record on the road and a win Monday night would make them 8-7 on the season.  The last Cajuns' squad to finish over .500 in the league was the 1999-2000 squad that won the Sun Belt Conference tournament and played in the NCAA Regional in Birmingham, AL.  The Cajuns are 6-0 all time against App State, 4-0 since the Mountaineers joined the SBC.

Louisiana is coming off a 79-77 win at Coastal Carolina on Saturday.  Frank Bartley IV hit two free throws with :17 remaining to give the Cajuns the win.  Bartley leads the Cajuns in scoring with a 15.7 ppg.  Senior Jay Wright is right behind with an average of 15.2  Junior Bryce Washington averages 13.5 points and leads the Sun Belt in rebounding with an 11.3 average.  Freshman Justin Miller also scores in double figures, averaging 11.0 points per game.

Appalachian State (8-19, 3-13) lost to ULM in its last outing on Saturday.  The Mountaineers have beaten three of the top four teams in the league, with wins over Arkansas State, Georgia State and Georgia Southern.  App State is led by all-conference candidate Ronshad Shabazz, who averages 16.5 ppg.  Griffin Kinney is the second leading scorer at 9.9.
