Luke Sherley and Derek Scheible hit a pair of two run homers in the seventh inning to lead a Texas State comeback as the Bobcats defeated the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 6-5 Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Ballpark in San Marcos, TX.

Anthony Pagano (2-0) allowed just one run on two hits over 4.1 innings of relief to get the win for Texas State (24-25-1, 11-14 Sun Belt).  The left hander retired twelve of the last 13 batters he faced.

Nick Lee (1-6), who entered the game in the seventh and was victimized for all four runs, took the loss for the Cajuns (29-22, 15-11).. Lee allowed four hits and four runs in 2/3 of an inning.

Gavin Bourgeois had three hits to lead the Cajuns 12-hit attack, while Zach Lafleur and Kennon Fontenot had two hits apiece.  Tyler Stover drove in two runs for Louisiana.  Daniel Lahare increased his hitting streak to 12 games with a fifth inning double as part of a four run inning.

Sherley and Ryan Newman each had three hits for Texas State.  Dalton Shuffield had two of the Bobcats' eleven hits.

Hogan Harris turned in another quality start, allowing six hits and one earned run over six innings.  He walked four and struck out three.  Connor Reich started for Texas State and gave up ten hits and four runs over 4.2 innings of work.

The two team will play the rubber match Sunday at 1:00 pm.  The pregame show on 96.5 KPEL-FM will begin at 12:30.
