7 Players Playing In Senior Bowl With Louisiana Ties

Saturday's Senior Bowl in Mobile features some of college football's best players, all of who look to impress NFL scouts. This year's game features 7 players who played college ball in Louisiana.

1. Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU

The All-American from Shreveport was one of college football's best cover corners during his time in Baton Rouge, showing off skills as a punt returner as well. He scored 3 touchdowns on punt returns during his LSU career, and another interception return for a touchdown in week 1 of the 2016 season at Wisconsin.

2. Duke Riley, ILB, LSU

Finishing the 2016 season with 85 tackles, including 9 for loss, the senior bowl could boost Riley's draft stock, an underrated players with an extremely high football IQ.

3. Ethan Pocic, C, LSU

At 6'7, 300 lbs, the center prospect continues to climb up NFL Draft big boards. PLaying multiple positions along the LSU offensive line, he proved to be a swiss army knife, filling in at an elite level along the O-Line.

4. Travin Dural, WR, LSU

The Breaux Bridge native sports an undeniable playmaking ability. At 6'2, his wingspan allows him to stretch out for catches anywhere in his vicinity. While his senior season didn't produce All-American numbers (28 receptions, 280 yards, TD), his entire collegiate body of work has the attention of scouts. Perhaps more than any other Tiger on this list, Dural can change his draft stock for the better during Senior Bowl week.

5. Chad Williams, WR, Grambling

As the first player from Grambling to receive a Senior Bowl invite since 2001, Williams should make the best of his opportunity. The FCS All-American put up impressive stats in 2016 (90 receptions, 1337 yards, 11 touchdowns) was a giant part of Grambling's 11-1 record.

6. Tanzel Smart, DT, Tulane

The 6'0, 304 lb. Smart anchored a beefy Tulane defensive line that ranked among the best in the AAC in 2016. A first-team AAC selection, Smart is a sleeper in the 2016 draft, but could wake up plenty of scouts and coaches with an impressive week in Mobile.

7. Trent Taylor, WR, Louisiana Tech

A master of "trick catches" in practice, the first-team Conference USA performer leaves Ruston as the Bulldogs all-time leader in receptions (327), including 136 last season. A semi-finalist for the Biletnikoff award (given to college football's best WR), Taylor is constantly proving critics wrong who things he's too undersize (5'8, 178 lbs). He has a chance to do it again this week at the Senior Bowl.
