There are a ton of story lines right now around Major League Baseball and many you should be on the look-out for this weekend!

1. YA GOTTA BELIEVE

The New York Mets have the best winning percentage in Major League Baseball and after going 6-0 on their latest road trip through Washington and Miami, they return home to Flushing, Queens at 10-1. New Manager Mickey Callaway has been pushing all the right buttons early on this season, the bullpen has been fantastic (1.49 ERA), timely hitting, and having all of their "Five Aces" in the rotation at the same time has been a big boost. They'll take on the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend and you'll see Steven Matz, Matt Harvey, and Noah Syndergaard grace the mound. The one low-note for the Mets is that they lost both of their catchers within two days last week. We'll now see Double-A catcher Tomas Nido and former Nationals catcher Jose Lobaton. Travis d'Arnaud will have Tommy John surgery that'll end his season and Kevin Plawecki is on the shelf for 2-3 weeks with a hairline fracture in his left hand.

2. SHO-TIME in LA

The Angels have had the best player in the league for many years at this point in Mike Trout and an aging superstar in Albert Pujols, yet they've failed to find success. However, the team is blazing out of the starting gate of this season with the dual-threat that is Shohei Ohtani, pitching and hitting wise. He's galvanized the league with his abilities to not only hit three home-runs in a three game stretch but to throw 99-100 with a sinker that absolutely falls off the table! This is an exciting start for the Angels (11-3) and we'll get to see Ohtani on the bump this Sunday on the road to face the Kansas City Royals.

3. BIG SEXY vs. MR. KATE UPTON

If you couldn't tell by the title of this final story line, the match-up we're going to see on Sunday Night Baseball this weekend will be that of the ageless wonder, Bartolo Colon vs. Justin Verlander. Both pitchers have defied the age restriction that we've seen hamper so many before them and they just keep on, keeping on. The Houston Astros have looked to give Verlander new life after a couple, "un-Verlander like"  years in Detroit around his early thirties. Now, since joining Houston at age 35, he's pitched like a mid-20's version of himself, and he's always fun to watch. On the other side for the Texas Rangers with big Bart, you've got a guy who was bringing it in the upper 90's early in his career, but when he lost that he lost himself for a few years, and had to reinvent the way he pitched. He figured it out with Oakland, then carried it over to the Mets, and now he's found his way to Texas with a chance to start again at the age of 44, Big Sexy is still doing it.
