Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns celebrated four seniors prior to their game with Louisiana-Monroe Saturday night.

At halftime, they celebrated the retiring of the #12 jersey of two-time All-American Dean Church.

That was it for the celebrations as ULM scored 55 points in the second half en route to a 78-60 thrashing of the Cajuns before a season high 5,078 at the Cajundome.

The Cajuns (16-14, 10-6 Sun Belt) jumped out to an early 21-8 lead, but ULM chipped away and trailed by only five at halftime, 28-23.  The Cajuns scored just seven points in the final eleven minutes of the first half.

But after intermission, the Warhawks (3-26.2-14) missed very few shots.  And, the Cajuns made very few, being outscored 55-32 in the second half.

The Warhawks made 18-25 field goal attempts in the second half, including 6-8 from three point range.  In addition, ULM was 13-19 from the free throw line in the second half after not shooting a single free throw before intermission.

Louisiana, meanwhile, hit just 12-34 from the field in the second half (35.3%), made just 2-13 three point shots (15.4%) and shot just 6-15 (40%) from the free throw line.

The Warhawks had four men in double figures, led by Charles Winborne with 20 points.  Senior Fred Brown had 19 points, while another senior, Hugh Mingo, had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Steven McClellan finished with 14 points.

The Cajuns were led by eleven points by Darshawn McClellan, while seniors Josh Brown and David Perez had ten points apiece.

The Cajuns can still be the #3 seed for the Sun Belt tournament if North Texas wins at Denver Sunday afternoon.  A Denver win would make the Cajuns the #4 seed and they would play North Texas for a third time this season in the quarterfinals.
