UL Softball Closes Out Fall Schedule With Win Over McNeese

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns closed out their fall softball schedule with a road win on Tuesday night.

Louisiana traveled to Lake Charles and knocked off the McNeese Cowgirls, 18-5, in their final fall contest, in preparation for the upcoming 2020 college softball season.

The Cajuns were able to launch four home runs in the 10-inning contest, including long balls off the bats of Taylor Roman, Raina O'Neal, Carrie Boswell, and Bailey Curry while using 6 different pitchers inside of the circle.

With the victory, UL concluded their fall schedule with a perfect 4-0 mark, including a second triumph over McNeese, who they defeated 18-1 back on October 5 in Lafayette.

Louisiana went 52-6 in 2019, including a perfect 25-0 Sun Belt Conference record.
