Saints Place Four On All-Rookie Team

In case there was any doubt, the 2017 New Orleans Saints' draft was a huge success.

Four members of the team's 2017 NFL Draft class, who helped the Saints to an 11-5 record, and the NFC South Division tile, received league-wide recognition on Tuesday .

Running back Alvin Kamara, cornerback Marshon Lattimore, free safety Marcus Williams and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk were all selected to the Pro Football Writers of America's 2017 All-Rookie Team.

The Saints were represented the most, with a league-high four players named to the team, while the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers all are represented by two players.

In addition, Kamara, a third-round selection out of Tennessee, was also named the PFWA's 2017 Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year, along with Kansas City running back Kareem Hunt.

The 5-foot-10, 214-pound Kamara who accumulated 1,554 total yards and 14 touchdowns, also caught 81 passes this past season, the third-highest total by a rookie in NFL history.

The 11th-overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Ohio St., Lattimore, tied for fifth in the league with five interceptions, while totaling 53 tackles and a forced fumble.

The final pick in the first-round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Ramczyk started all 16 games this past season, including 13 at right tackle and three at left tackle.

A second-round selection out of Utah, Williams finished the season with 73 tackles, third on the squad, to go along with four interceptions, which ranked second.
