The Teurlings Catholic Quarterback towers above the line, with an impressive 6'7" frame. He can withstand a solid hit too, weighing in around 245 lbs. The ball absolutely whistles when he throws it, and his ability to thread the needle comes with a mix of mental anticipation and sheer arm strength. Kelley was also a solid low post presence for the Rebels' basketball team, a testament to his sneaky athleticism out of the pocket.

Kelley's Head Coach at Teurlings Catholic, Sonny Charpentier, spoke about the incredible ceiling his monstrous QB displays.

"He’s a better athlete than some people give him credit for, he’s catching up to his body," Charpentier said. "But his best attribute is between is ears...he doesn't get fooled very much.

Kelley lit up defenses to the tune of 3,004 yards last season and racked up 31 touchdowns with only nine interceptions. Kelley's verbal commitment to Arkansas takes a name off the list of several high-level programs, such as Oklahoma State, Colorado State, Kentucky, and more locally at Louisiana Tech and the Ragin' Cajuns.

A prototypical pocket passer, Kelley joins a Bret Bielema offense where he won't be asked to shoulder the entire load. The Hogs will still love to pound the ball, but if Kelley can develop into a starter in his time in Fayetteville, fans could get used to seeing him launch a couple balls deep off of play action. There are four other quarterbacks (three sophomores, one freshman) on the Razorbacks' current 2015 roster, but none of them compare to Kelley's size.

Bielema is excited about 2015 four-star commit, Ty Storey, who Kelley will surely have to compete with in the future. Depth chart speculation would be a waste of time at this point.

It's always a happy day when an athlete and their family get to announce their future, especially when it is with a Division-I team. Congrats to Cole and the Kelley family. The SEC awaits, big fella'.
