Middle Tennessee Loses RB for Season

Middle Tennessee suffered a huge blow today when coach Rick Stockstill revealed leading rusher Benny Cunningham would be lost for the season due to an injury suffered Saturday night in the Blue Raiders 34-30 win over FIU.

Cunningham was leading the Sun Belt in rushing and scoring.  He injured his left knee on a night when he had a career high 230 yards on 36 attempts.

He had 600 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns this season.
