Louisiana Coach Mark Hudspeth met with media after Tuesday mornings workout to discuss the Cajuns fifth practice. Coach Hud called Tuesday's practice "a grind". The workout was the first time this fall that the team has practiced in full pads. The practice also included live goal line work between the offense and defense.

Kickoff for the September 17th home contest with South Alabama has been set for 6 pm.

It was also learned on Tuesday that Cajun backup QB Gunner Hudspeth has torn his ACL. It is the third time Gunner has suffered an ACL injury. A decision about surgery has not been made yet.

Louisiana will be on the field Wednesday morning for practice at 8:45. The Cajuns will then return Wednesday evening at 6:35. It will be the Cajuns first two-a-day practice of camp.
