Yes, you read that right! A Texas man is suing Walmart for Unlimited Shopping for Life or $100 million,  According to NBC4, Roderick Jackson, of Waskom, Texas, filed two handwritten complaints saying he was suing Walmart for an incident that took place at a store in Omaha, Nebraska, in March 2021.

Jackson sent the complaints to the United States District Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Both complaints were filed on Jan. 8 pro se, without an attorney.

Jackson claims “false pretense of shoplifting” and the other claims he “suffered civil rights violations based on race/color.”

Walmart responded with the following statement: “We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We are aware of Mr. Jackson’s complaint and intend to defend the company against the allegations once we have been served.”

TX IHOP Employees Fired for Not Serving Couple Because of Race

An IHOP in Mesquite, Texas, has fired multiple employees for allegedly not serving a couple because of their race. According to CBSNEWS.COM, Mitchell and her boyfriend Elvis Polley say they wanted to celebrate Polley's 49th birthday the day after Christmas. They tell CBS News Texas they are still in disbelief after that birthday breakfast at their local IHOP turned into something they never expected.

"When we got to the restaurant, we were told that we were not going to be serviced because of our color," said Mitchell. "It is a shock, and your brain is not processing what you're hearing."  Another employee walked up to their table and said that their waitress wouldn't serve them because they were black. Even an IHOP manager is caught on video saying, "One of our morning servers, she's 'picky.'"  That waitress was employed for 25 years. She has been terminated, but she wasn't the only one. The manager and another waitress were also fired.

The couple says IHOP did the right thing with firing the waitress, but that the damage is already done. Read the full story by clicking here.
