Louisiana senior running back Raymond Calais has been honored by the Sun Belt Conference as the Offensive Player of the Week.

Calais ran for a season high 144 yards in the Cajuns' 37-20 win over Arkansas State Thursday night in Jonesboro, AR.  The yardage was the most by a Cajun in a single game this year.  Calais scored twice, including an 80 yards run.  He got the yardage on only eight carries, an average of 18.0 yards per carry.

The Breaux Bridge Native is the fourth Cajun to get Player of the Week honors this season and the second on offense.  Elijah Mitchell got the same honor back on September 23.
