UL Softball Moves Up In Polls

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team moved up in both Top-25 polls this week. Meanwhile, sophomore outfielder/designated hitter Taryn Broussard was named the LSWA Hitter of the Week. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

Thanks to their 5-0 record at the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational last weekend, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team has climbed in both of this week's Top-25 polls that were announced on Tuesday.

The Cajuns (10-0) have moved from 16^th to 15^th in the USA Today/NFCA poll and from 19^th to 17^th in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.

The Cajuns also grabbed an individual award as Taryn Broussard was named the LSWA Hitter of the Week.
