UL Basketball Offers Tirus Smith

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns would like to add some junior college basketball experience.

A native of Richton, Mississippi, Smith attended high school at Petal High School, before signing with UTEP out of the prep ranks, where he averaged 5 points-per-game playing significant minutes as a freshman.

This season, after transferring to Jones County, the 6-foot-9 Smith has averaged 8.7 points, to go along with 5.4 rebounds a contest, while shooting 62% from the field.
