The New Orleans Saints made a roster move on Tuesday.

The Saints cut Travis Feeney, waiving the linebacker from the 53-man roster with an undisclosed injury.

A native of Richmond, California, Feeney played his college football at Washington, where he compiled 248 total tackles, including 168 solo stops, to go along with 15.5 sacks, over his four season with the Huskies.

A 6th round selection by Pittsburgh in the 2016 NFL Draft, Feeney spent most of last season on the Steelers' practice squad, before signing with the Saints on December 9.

The 24-year old Feeney did not appear in a game for the Saints last season, despite spending four weeks on the roster.

The 6-foot-4, 226-pound Feeney was also drafted by the Oakland A's in the 2011 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.
