The New Orleans Saints let go of a familiar face, again, on Thursday.
That player, may soon be re-signed, again.
The team released fullback John Kuhn, who spent all of 2016 with them.
A 12-year veteran, Kuhn rushed for 37 yards on 18 carries last season, while also compiling 16 receptions for 70 yards.
The 35-year old Kuhn, is former 3-time Pro Bowler, while a member of the Green Bay Packers, was previously released on September 3, before being re-signed on September 6.
Like the last time he was released, Kuhn could return very soon, as he is a vested veteran, which means he won't be exposed to the waiver wire.
A big part of the reason Kuhn was released was because the Saints needed to create a roster spot, after signing defensive ends Darryl Tapp and Kendall Langford.
