Saints RB Mark Ingram Signs With New Agency As He Enters Contract Year
New Orleans Saints Pro Bowl running back Mark Ingram is coming off the best season of his career.
The 28 year old rushed for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns, sharing the backfield with Rookie of the Year Pro Bowl back Alvin Kamara.
Next season, he enters the final year of his current contract with the Saints. With a performance similar to 2017, Ingram will definitely draw interest in free agency.
Today, he officially signed with VIP Sports Management of Detroit, represented by agents Paul Bobbitt and David Jones, the agency announced today.
Ingram, a native of Flint, Michigan, released the following statement through the agency.
“I am excited to join the VIP team,” Ingram said. “Paul (Bobbitt) and David (Jones) are smart, aggressive guys who really look out for the best interests of their players, on and off the field.”
Ingram is set to earn approximately $4.6 million in the upcoming season.
