The New Orleans Saints placed a former LSU receiver on injured reserve on Thursday.

The team placed Travin Dural on injured reserve, after he cleared waivers.

Dural suffered a broken arm at the Saints' training camp on Sunday.

In addition, the Saints also placed Josh Smith and Eldridge Massington, two undrafted receivers, on injured reserve.

A former prep star at Breaux Bridge High School, Dural, who went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, signed with the Saints' practice squad last year, after being released by the team prior to the start of the 2017 season.

Also a track standout at Breaux Bridge, Dural caught 42 passes for 902 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior in high school, before signing with LSU.

Battling injuries throughout his time in college, Dural accumulated 100 catches for 1,716 yards and 13 touchdowns over his 4 years at LSU, including 28 receptions for 280 yards and one score as a senior in 2016.

The 6-foot-1, 202-pound Dural will turn 25 in October.
