He isn't his brother Steph, but Seth Curry is doing his best impression of him for the Pelicans in this Summer League session.

Steph's little brother has the hot hand through two games, putting in 30 and 25 points respectively, while picking up seven steals as well. He might be auditioning for an actual spot on the roster some time in the regular season if he can keep those numbers up. The talent level in the Summer League isn't exactly top-tier, but teams are always looking to find another source of scoring.

Alvin Gentry's offense is sure to be more high octane than the Pelicans players were accustomed to under Monty Williams, and Curry's ability to make the roster will depend heavily on improving his three point shot (3-18 through two games). The other thing that could get him on the roster shall not be spoken. It has to do with guys missing time on the floor and spending it on a medical table. Knock on wood, please.

Two games is a very small sample size to get excited about a guy who had trouble seeing the court last year for the Cavs, Suns and Grizzlies; however, it's easy to get excited about the league MVP's brother heating up. He's never going to be as good as his brother, but sometimes it's still fun to fantasize.

If the three balls start dropping more consistently, then we could really be talking.
