The LSU Tigers had a phenomenal season and they'll try to cap that off with a New Years Day win in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl. They'll take on the undefeated University of Central Florida Golden Knights who self-proclaimed themselves as "National Champions" last season.

There will be a lot made of the UCF starting quarterback McKenzie Milton being injured towards the end of the season and not playing in this game. There will be a lot made of the Tigers vaunted defense and a defense like the Golden Knights have never faced before.

However, there is an underlying story that goes beyond the football field and hits home on a human level. There's a boy named Drake who is eight years old and an avid LSU Tigers fan who is battling cancer. He had one big holiday wish, to be able to see his favorite football team play in person....

Such a terrific story and a great job by the powers that be associated with the Fiesta Bowl to make Drake's holiday wish come true.
