NCAA Tournament 2013 East Region — Day 1

March Madness goes for broke Thursday, with 16 NCAA Tournament games taking place. The East Region will feature four double-digit seeds looking to start Cinderella runs.

Bucknell and Butler face off in a battle of mid-major powers, while Davidson seeks to take down a solid Big East squad in Marquette. Cal is the lower seed in a rematch of an early season tilt against UNLV, but the game is actually a stone's throw from its campus, in San Jose. Syracuse, meanwhile, aims to fend off a solid Montana team in a #13-#4 matchup where many feel an upset is possible.
