Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun senior guard Kia Wilridge continues to climb up the all-time school statistical charts, with still more than half the season remaining to do even more.

A native of Crowley, Wilridge, who attended St. Thomas More High School, has been a four-year starter for coach Garry Brodhead’s program.

In terms of points scored, as of Thursday, Wilridge has poured in 1,032 career points, becoming only the 12th player in program history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau.

In front of Wilridge is Ann Harper (1,083), Mary Douglass (1,086), Aronji Johnson (1,086), and Yolanda Jones (1,090).

If Wilridge averages 10.0 ppg over her next 6 games, she would vault into the top 8 in all-time scoring.

In the assists department, Wilridge currently ranks 7th in school history in assists, with 258, just 3 behind Alicia McDaniel, and 22 in back of Cindy Vincent.

Barring injury, Wilridge should finish her career in the top 5 in career assists.

In career steals, with 210, Wilridge currently ranks fourth, three behind teammate Keke Veal, and 41 behind Merritt, who ranks second on the list.
