Football season is over for 2015, but the Ragin' Cajuns are already getting ready for Spring Ball in 2016. Set your calendars.

Hardcore members of Cajun Nation like to follow the team year-round, and coming off of a 4-8 season...there are a lot of questions to answer this Spring. There are sure to be position battles (can Jordan Davis win the QB position?), some shifts in coaching philosophy and, as always, a few surprises.

Before moving on completely, the Cajuns are set to hold their banquet for the football team on January 16th at the Student Union. It's always a nice event for the players and staff to put the year in perspective. After that, as Coach Hud said, it's time to hit the reset button.

Starting the week of March 7th, it's time for Spring Practice. The first official practice will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, and they will go for three straight weeks before taking a week off. After the quick breather, it's back to practice for two more weeks. There will also be a coaching clinic held (we will provide details as they become clarified).

The month of March and early April will be spent gearing up, and April 16th will mark the Spring Game. The Cajuns plan to set things off with a bang.

Along with the regular football action, there will also be a large festival to celebrate the Spring Game. Head out to Cajun Field to see a little football, and you could walk away with an even better family experience than you anticipated.

To condense it all in short form, here is a quick rundown of the important dates:

January 16th, Saturday-Football Banquet
March 7th-Start of Spring Practice
April 16th-Spring Game
