The details of the audio recording of former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams before New Orleans' playoff matchup with the San Francisco 49ers was made public by the press back on April 4th. The NFL players association reportedly had detailed knowledge of the audio before the press did.

According to sources, the details of Williams' speech was provided to the NFLPA by former Saints linebacker Scott Fujita (pictured left). Fujita is a member of the union's executive committee and is among the players who face disciplinary action from commissioner Roger Goodell as a result of "bountygate." Fujita has consistently denied participating in any bounty program that targeted opposing players for specific injuries.

ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen broke the story. You can check it out by clicking here.
