Former LSU receiver Travin Dural has signed with the New Orleans Saints practice squad.

A former prep star at Breaux Bridge High School, Dural, who went undrafted in the recent NFL Draft, signed with the Saints' practice squad, after being released by the team prior to Saturday 3 pm deadline.

Also a track standout at Breaux Bridge, Dural caught 42 passes for 902 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior in high school, before signing with LSU.

Battling injuries throughout his time in college, Dural accumulated 100 catches for 1,716 yards and 13 touchdowns over his 4 years at LSU, including 28 receptions for 280 yards and one score as a senior in 2016.

The 6-foot-1, 202-pound Dural will turn 24 in October.

The Saints can have add 10 players to the practice squad and have an exemption for English defensive end Alex Jenkins as part of the International Player Pathway initiative.

Many of the players the Saints sign to practice squad deals will be players that were with the team throughout the offseason, but can be added from other teams.

Players on the practice squad can be signed by any team, to their 53-man roster, at any point, during the season.
