Looks like Joseph DeCarlo picked the wrong catcher to try to run over.

DeCarlo, who who is a minor leaguer in the Seattle Mariners' organization, tries to run over former Acadiana High School standout Stryker Trahan, who was the the 26th overall draft pick for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the MLB Draft last month.

Not a good idea, Joseph!

This is video of DeCarlo getting stopped dead in his tracks by the 6-foot-1, 215-pound Trahan, during a Rookie League game in Scottsdale, Ariz. on Wednesday.

DeCarlo had to be helped off the field.

Keep in mind, DeCarlo was running at the time, so he had momentum heading towards Trahan, but that didn't matter.

Don't try to run over Stryker Trahan!
