Christi Orgeron & Gabrielle Bridges Named To Softball All-American Team

Great news coming from ragincajuns.com, as UL outfielder Christi Orgeron and first baseman Gabrielle Bridges have been named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American team.

To me, the only thing surprising to me about this is that Orgeron wasn't named to the first, or second team. She only led the country in RBI's, and was second in both homers, and runs scored, to go along with a .414 batting average. She's one of ten finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award.

Bridges finished second in the country in RBI's, and third in homers. She also blasted an NCAA record four grand slam homer runs in 2011.
