Cajuns Take Out Brooms, Defeat UALR, 5-1

Louisiana's Ragin'  Cajun baseball team completed a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference sweep, by defeating the UALR Trojans, 5-1, on Sunday, at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

T.J. Geith pitched a complete game for the second consecutive Sunday and Louisiana completed a series sweep of UALR for the fifth straight season with a 5-1 win at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.

Geith limited the Trojans to six hits – four of the hits were infield singles – and struck out a career-high eight on a career-high 124 pitches.

Louisiana created distance from UALR after a three-spot in the sixth inning increased the lead to 5-0. The only run scored off of Geith came on a fielding error in the seventh inning.
