The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns felt like they gave one away last Tuesday night at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field against Southeastern Louisiana.

They have a chance to make up for it tomorrow night in Hammond.

The Cajuns (23-15) and Lions (30-11) square off at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field with first pitch scheduled for 6pm.

The Cajuns will face a familiar foe on the hill as RHP Pat Cashman (3-3, 3.97 ERA).  Cashman allowed nine hits and two runs in six innings of work against the Cajuns last Tuesday night, a game won by the Lions, 5-3.  In that contest, the Cajuns took a 3-2 lead into the eighth before a hit batsman, a fielders choice and a walk loaded the bases.  Two Lions' hits brought home the three free baserunners.

Will Bacon, who sparkled in relief against the Lions last Tuesday night will get the start for the Cajuns.  The right-hander is 1-1 on the year with a 3.76 ERA.

The Lions have won four in a row after taking the midweek game and then sweeping McNeese State over the weekend.  The Cajuns won two of three games on the road at Texas State.

The Lions have a team batting average of .302 which leads the Southland Conference.  Southeastern brings a team ERA of 3.71.  Daniel Midyett (.336-7-36) leads the Southland in homers and RBI.

The Cajuns sport a team batting average of .285 and sport a 3.65 ERA.  Stefan Trosclair has a team leading nine home runs, while Blake Trahan leads the squad with a .370 batting average.

The game can be heard on ESPN1420 with airtime at 5:35pm
