Stefan Trosclair Earns Sun Belt Player Of The Week Honors

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun junior outfielder Stefan Trosclair has earned Sun Belt Conference player of the week honors.

Torsclair, who earned LSWA hitter of the week honors yesterday, is coming off an impressive week of work, hitting .471 (8-for-17) with four doubles, two runs scored, five RBI, a .706 slugging percentage, a .609 on base percentage, drawing four walks.

"Again this is a great honor for Stefan and for our team,” UL head coach Tony Robichaux said in a press conference. “He worked really hard to come back from injury and had to do a lot of that work while he waited for his chance. Now the game is paying him back for that hard work and effort.”

Louisiana (15-10) battles #3 LSU (23-5) tonight at Zephyr Field in Metarie in the annual Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation Classic.
