New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan met with reporters on Friday, two days before the team is scheduled to take on the Carolina Panthers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The Saints are currently 5-7 and tied for first-place with the Atlanta Falcons atop the NFC South.

In the first meeting between the two teams in Charlotte, North Carolina, back on October 30, New Orleans defeated Carolina, 28-10.

In that contest, Ryan's defense limited the Panthers to 231 total yards, while limiting Carolina quarterback Cam Newton to 151 passing yards, on 10-of-28 pass attempts.

In the meeting with reporters, Ryan talked about keeping tabs on his brother, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan, along with his New Orleans defense, the first game between the Saints and Panthers, and what the defense is going to have to do this time around to help the Saints come out victorious.
