Like they did the majority of last season, Alabama and LSU sit atop the latest top 25 poll at 1 and 2. The Tide and Tigers were ranked 1 and 2 for 8 weeks last season, with the difference being the Tigers 1 and Tide 2. That changed when Bama defeated LSU in the BCS National Championship game. The SEC West rivals play one another on November 3rd in Tiger Stadium.

There were several shakeups in the latest poll, with USC falling from #2 to #13 after losing to Stanford on Saturday. Speaking of the Cardinal, they made the biggest leap, going from #21 all the way to #9 with the victory.
