Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun basketball team gets back to the hardwood tonight when they host the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee in a Sun Belt Conference game.  The Cajuns (3-11, 1-2 Sun Belt) will be looking for their 11th straight home conference win, dating back to last season.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN1420.  Jay Walker has the call beginning at 7pm, with tipoff at 7:30.  The gametime was moved so fans could watch the NFL playoff game between the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks and still make it to the 'Dome in time for tipoff.

The Cajuns are coming off a thrilling 93-91 win over Troy on Thursday night.  In that game, seniors Travis Bureau, Randell Daigle and Courtney Wallace combined for 50 of the Cajuns' 93 points.  The Cajuns shot 50% from the floor and hit 26-32 free throws to get the win.

They'll face a tough test tonight in the Blue Raiders.  Coach Kermit Davis' team (6-9, 1-1 SBC) raised some eyebrows across the league Wednesday night when they knocked off Sun Belt favorite North Texas 78-71.  The Raiders have won five straight in the series, with four of those games in Murfreesboro.

Middle Tennesee is known for playing tough man-to-man defense.  They're led offensively by senior James Washington (13.5ppg).  Jason Jones also scores in double figures at 12.2 ppg.  Washington was the catalyst in last year's win over the Cajuns with 23 points, four rebounds and five assists.

The Cajuns' will be without the services of G/F Josh Brown.  The junior college transfer from Ruston injured his knee late in the game against Troy.  He is out indefinitely.
