The NFC South just added another elite player. According to ESPN reports, New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis is being traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Revis is expected to take a physical this afternoon. If he passes, the Bucs will send several draft picks to the Jets, including their first round pick (13th overall) in this week's NFL draft.

When healthy, Revis is arguably the best corner in the league. However, injuries have been an issue for Darrelle as of late. Six months ago Revis had ACL knee surgery after tearing his achilles in a game. After months of rehab, he was cleared to run last week.

Tampa Bay is reportedly willing to pay Revis the $15 million per year he seeks. Darrelle has one year left on his current deal worth $6 million total in base salary and bonuses.
