Anthony Davis signs with Klutch Sports Group

Monday was New Orleans Pelicans media day and one of the biggest pieces of news to come out of Monday was that star big man Anthony Davis has himself new representation. He has officially signed with Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, the same agent as the best player on the planet.....

And let the speculation begin.... With this decision, people will look into this decision by Davis and try to read between the lines, thinking this might be the first step in AD eventually moving on to Los Angeles.

However, that's not always the case, for example, he negotiated a deal for one of his clients John Wall to stay with the Washington Wizards on a $207 million extension.

In Anthony Davis' case, he'll be eligible to sign up to a five-year, $235 million extension with the Pelicans next summer. Davis, who is coming off his best season as a pro averaging 28.1 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game last year, can become an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
