Everyone knows UConn owns women's basketball. Geno Auriemma's team set the bar so high that they're the only ones breaking their own records.

UConn already had the NCAA record for consecutive wins. Their 90 straight wins was one of the records most people thought to be unbreakable, but they did it again, and this time they went one step further.

Auriemma and his women won their 91st consecutive game to set a new record this weekend. For perspective, they haven't lost a game since March 12, 2013. Can you imagine not losing a game for more than three years straight?

Not only are they beating people, they're crushing the life out of them. During 2016, they have a scoring margin of 28.2 points per game, including a 65-point blowout against South Florida.

The Huskies have a serious shot at becoming the first college basketball program to win 100 straight games. Breaking the great John Wooden's 88-game streak with UCLA was a feat, now UConn and Auriemma are going for the century mark.

The only other streak like this exists in the Division-III ranks. Mount Union won over 100 straight football games, spanning all the way from 2005 to this season, when they eventually fell to John Carroll University.
