Rangers Win Game 2 In Stunning Fashion, Even Series
The Texas Rangers pulled out Game 2 of the World Series in stunning fashion, scoring 2 runs in the ninth inning to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1. The Rangers are just the third team to rally from a 1-0 deficit in the ninth inning or later and win a World Series game. The 1911 Athletics and the 1985 Royals are the other two franchises on that list.
The 1-1 series now shifts to Texas for Game 3 on Saturday.
