Only two games into the season, the New Orleans Pelicans sit at 0-2, in need of point guard help.

With starter Jrue Holiday on a 20 minute per game restriction, and only able to play in one game of a back to back, along with Tyreke Evans and Norris Cole being absent with injuries, the Pels hoped to get production out of veteran Nate Robinson. It didn't happen.

New Orleans waived the 31 year old Robinson today. As a score-first point guard, his athleticism has declined, and as a result, so has his play on the court.

The roster currently stands at 14. Holiday and Ish Smith are the only point guards currently on the roster healthy enough to play.
