Grant Hill snapped back at comments made by Jalen Rose. Rose, in a documentary about the Fab Five at Michigan, said that Hill's Duke Blue Devils “only recruited black players that were ‘Uncle Toms.'” Hill was a star at Duke in 1992 when the Blue Devils beat Rose's Michigan team in the National Championship game. Here is more from the AP and yahoo sports.

Rose made the comments in a recent ESPN documentary about Michigan’s Fab Five, a class of talented freshman in the early 1990s. Rose said he hated Duke back then and said the ACC program would never recruit someone like him.

In a column that appeared on The New York Times’ website Wednesday, Hill cautions his “fabulous five friends to avoid stereotyping me and others they do not know in much the same way so many people stereotyped them back then for their appearance and swagger.”

For the record, Rose clarified his statement, explaining that he only felt that way as a 19 year old. Rose stated that he has great respect for the Duke program now, and was only speaking for how he, and other members of the Fab Five, felt about Duke when they played them in the 92 title game.

Grant Hill seems to be a bit sensitive about the subject matter, leading one to believe it's not the first time he heard someone make a statement about Duke similar to Rose's. Rose last played in the NBA in the 08-09 season, and currently works as an NBA analyst for ESPN. Hill currently plays for the Phoenix Suns.
