Anthony Davis Will Start In NBA All Star Game, Starting Lineups Rundown

New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis is heading to his 4th All-Star game in a row as he's one of ten players voted to start in the NBA All-Star Game to be played in New Orleans on February 19th.

As first reported by ESPN’s Chris Haynes, Davis earned the starting nod at center, with Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry and forward Kevin Durant, along with Houston Rockets guard James Harden and San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard starting for the West.

The East starters consist of Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and guard Kyrie Irving, Chicago Bulls forward Jimmy Butler, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan and Milwaukee Bucks center Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, who is averaging a triple-double this season, is among the biggest snub not to be named starter.

Westbrook and 13 other All-Star reserves will be announced next week.

The starters are voting on in three portions. Fan vote accounts for 50%, players vote accounts for 25% and select NBA media members account for 25%.

The Smoothie King Center, home to the New Orleans Pelicans, plays host to the NBA ASG in a month.
