Andy Murray is heartbroken.  So is the rest of the UK.

The two-time Wimbledon champion announced today he is withdrawing from play at the All-England Club because of his hip injury.

The hip injury has been an issue since the tournament last year when he was ousted in a five set quarterfinal against American Sam Querrey.

Murray underwent hip surgery back in January and played in only three matches since.

Murray won the men's title in 2013 and 2016.

Jason Jung will take Murray's place in the draw.
