The New Orleans Saints may have a bye this week in the first round of the playoffs but a couple of their assistant coaches are going to be very busy interviewing for NFL head coaching jobs.

We've heard assistant head coach/tight ends coach Dan Campbell's name thrown around as he's getting an opportunity to interview now with three teams, the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Arizona Cardinals. Now, according to CBS Sports Jason La Confora, there's another name drawing interest from the Packers in the form of offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael Jr.

Carmichael has a ton of history with New Orleans, he started here way back in 2006 when Sean Payton was hired and he's moved up the ranks over the years.

In 2006 he was brought in to be the quarterbacks coach and then was quickly promoted to not only quarterbacks coach but also passing game coach for 2007 and 2008. In 2009 he was promoted again to offensive coordinator and has been in that capacity up until the present day.

Sean Payton does call the offensive plays but over the years Carmichael has aided in creating some of the best offenses in the league since 2009 when he took over as offensive coordinator.
