Rafael Nadal admitted that no one pushes him harder on the tennis court that #1 ranked Novak Djokovic. Monday night in New York, Djokovic pushed Nadal to 4 sets, but Rafa pulled away from Novak in the 4th set, capturing his 2nd U.S. Open Championship (6-2, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1).

When Nadal claims Novak pushes him harder than anyone, he's referring to moments like one on Monday night when the two men went on a 54-shot rally (watch video below), a rally that was won by Djokovic and helped him capture the second set.

The 2nd US Open Championship marks the 13th Grand Slam title overall for Nadal. Nadal owns 1 Austrailian Open title, 2 Wimbledon titles, and 8 French Open titles. Nadal is obviously most effective on clay, but he shined for two weeks at Arthur Ashe stadium.

Despite Rafael's dominance leading up to the US Open final, some critics doubted if Rafa could top Djokovic on the hardcourt. He silenced those critics Monday night.
