The Pittsburgh Pirates haven't had a winning season in 21 years. As a result, they've become a punch line for sports fans.

Perhaps the Pirates are playing up to that punchline. How else would you explain this Saturday Night Live spoof?

On one hand, I applaud their attempt to be different. On the other, no starting lineup video should last over two minutes unless it's full of highlights that will get the crowd in a frenzy. All this does is force Pirate fans to think about a joke...something their team has been for the last 20 years.
